Shenzhen International Conference on Advanced

Science and Technology (SICAST)

  The Shenzhen International Conference on Advanced Science and Technology (SICAST) is a bi-year series conference. It is sponsored by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), National Natural Science Foundation of China and The Municipal Government of Shenzhen. It is undertaken by Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Academician Consultation Center of CAS and the Department of Science, Technology, Industry Trade and Informationization of Shenzhen City, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.

  The SICAST aims at providing a forum as good as possible to the top scientists from all over the world in order for all the attendees to talk, discuss and exchange ideas freely so long as the topics are not involved with any sensitive matters. According to the suggestions of the committee at the preparatory meeting held in Shenzhen University in the year of 2006, the SICAST should be initiated as the American ¡°Gorden Research Conference¡±, therefore all the attendees are by invited only, and in the coming years the SICAST will be focused on THz science, technology and applications. The succeeding conferences were held successfully in Nov. 2007 and Nov. 2009 separately

  The website ¡°Terahertz Research & Development Network of China (TRDNC)¡± and the On-line Journal of Terahertz Science and Technology (JTST) both serve as the unique publication platform of the SICAST. The TRDNC is the first professional website on Terahertz in China. As the only Terahertz journal in the world till now, the JTST is registered in the USA, and it is completely free of charge for reading£¬download and publication so far. Aiming at enlightening the researchers in Terahertz area, all the manuscripts of the talks presented at the SICAST will be published in JTST.
