THz wireless communication enjoys the advantages such as wide broad band and high security, therefore, THz wave band is potential to be another important frequency applied for communication after microwave and light wave communication. Due to its excellent time response and continuous emission, THzQCL is suitable to be used as the signal source of THz communication. Furthermore, with the fast detective response and high sensitive exploration, THzQWP is good and fast for THz wave detection. The semiconductor-based, solid THzQCL and THzQWP enjoy the highly effective performance, tightly compacted volume and easily accomplished integration.
For recent years, the National Key Lab of Communicative Functional Materials has been dedicating its time and energy in the research and development of THz quanta parts, which has impact on the related fields at home and abroad to a certain degree.
