    The SICAST is co-sponsored by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, National Science Foundation, Shenzhen Government and Shenzhen University, it is a series international conference, each for two years, The SICAST2009 will be held in Shenzhen, China, Nov.15-20, 2009.

    The SICAST provides a forum for the top scientists in the world to exchange their minds and achievements aimed to promote the progress of science and technology for the human being. Now the SICAST is focused on terahertz science and technology. It is a "pure science" conference, and it does not involve any sensitive problem so that scientists can freely do scientific exchange. The participation to the SICAST is by invitation only, and the SICAST provides as good conditions as possible for the attendees. The travel expenses, the accommodations and the after conference tour for all the invited speakers will be covered by the conference. Each invited speaker is required to present an Invited Talk at the conference, the paper of the Invited Talk will be published in the accompanied international on-line journal ¡°Terahertz Science and Technology¡±(TST), which is registered in USA and is free of charge to read and download for all people in the world. Each Invited Speaker is expected to submit or organize at least one more paper/papers to this journal after the conference.  Some outstanding Chinese young scientists are invited to attend the conference and present their achievements. The papers of these presentations will be also published in the (TST) after review.
